Creative german “Studio Oink” has recently completed their work at an apartment in Wiesbaden, Germany. For a young couple they have designed a bright and warm interior which is similar to the typical scandinavian design language we know.
Founder and creative heads of “Studio Oink”, Lea Korzeczek and Matthias Hiller have chosen a lot of wooden elements in order to make the apartment somehow sensitive, warm and in context with the white painted walls, the two-room-apartment gets a clean and bright look. For the bedroom the studio kept it simple to keep the focus on the bed and so it’s function: calm and relaxing space. Here they have built a wooden podium next to the window which the mattress lies on. Some more storage space is also offered underneath the podium.
The second room provides a loft bunk and a huge desk to solve two problems: working space for the couple plus a bed for guests in one room. A simple but effective solution is this loft bunk. Tiny changes like sculptures, plants and even a doorknob makes the apartment more individual. A lovely work by “Studio Oink”.
