Elis Talis is a Greek freelance photographer with a sensitive approach to her analogue camera. She captures both arranged sceneries and candid moments with equal skill. Her portrait photographs have a narrative element which tells stories or raises issues such as the image of the young girl in the pink dress or the image of the girl who is covered by a white curtain: Who is she and what is she thinking? – Pretty interesting to look at!
While these images tell stories, the photographs of the staged sceneries are more artistically inclined. We are drawn to the model lying in the middle of a desert.
