Warsaw-based and Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine raised photographer Yulia Krivich“>Yulia Krivich took us on a small journey through her photographs and showed us snapshots out of her everyday life, commercial works and a lot of evocative images.
Krivich already took part in some exhibitions in the past. They have taken part mostly in Warsaw, Poland between 2009 and 2013 so she is kind of a young upcoming talent with a lot of potential to grow. In 2013 she got her MFA with honors in Media Arts from the “Academy of Fine Arts” in Warsaw. So it is not coming from nowhere that we have selected her to publish a short write up here on ARTISAN about her stuff. Some of her works seem to be made spontaneously but on the other hand they are well arranged in a humorous way. She is playing with deep and wild textures which are lying behind her models. Many of these images are taken under the title “identities”, at least they seem like it because many models are showing themselves only from the back. Definitely interesting photographs!
